Swedish Match relaunched their One line recently. One was originally launched with three flavors, General One White, General One Original, and Göteborg's Rapé One. These three flavors were relaunched along with two new flavors. Today we'll be reviewing One Svart. Swedish Match describes One Svart as having a "dark and spicy tobacco character with hints of bergamot and citrus, as well as some tea and leather".
One Svart comes in a gold can with a black label. Svart is Swedish for black so keeping in line with the other products in the One line, the label matches the name. One is in the middle of the can, really drawing your eye to it. One is also in a bronze color, really making the entire design really sleek. Each can comes with 20 portions, weighing .9g each, totaling 18g. The nicotine content is 13mg/g which is 11.7mg/portion.
When you first open the can, you'll find the very classic General aroma. Bergamot is up front with tobacco mixing well with the bergamot. The flavor is very similar to the aroma. Bergamot and tobacco up front. There is a hint of citrus in the background which really ties the flavor together. If you've had the One Vit, this is very similar to that snus, but Svart is bolder. The nicotine strength feels to be between regular and strong strength and the flavor lasts between 30-45 minutes.
This product is very well done. The new portion material that Swedish Match is using for the One line is so thin, the flavor release is unlike anything I've ever had with portion snus. I would love to see Swedish Match start using this portion material with other products!
