When Swedish Match launched their One line in 2017, Göteborg's Rapé was one of the original flavors launched. Today we're going over the relaunched One Blå. The new One line is being marketed as having a name brand product with a value brand price! Swedish Match describes One Blå as having a "light and spicy tobacco character with clear elements of lavender and juniper, as well as a slightly wood and citrus aroma".
One Blå comes in a gold can with a deep blue label. As with the other One products, Blå is Swedish for blue, so the can definitely matches the name. One is right in the middle of the can in gold lettering, accenting the blue of the label really well. Each can comes with 22 portions, weighing 1g each, totaling 22g. The nicotine content is 14mg/g which is an easy 14mg/portion.
When you first open the can, you'll notice the pleasant, classic aroma of Göteborg's Rapé. The bold aroma of juniper berries is up front, with a hint of citrus in the background. This is a much bolder version of GR. The flavor is more pronounced and up front. Juniper berries and citrus are the main elements of this snus, with a hint of tobacco in the background. I didn't notice the tobacco in the aroma, but I picked up on it slightly in the flavor. The nicotine content is at the strong level, but is not too strong for my tastes.
The new One line is phenomenal. I love the new portion material. With them being so thin, the portions release the flavor like they're an original portion, but they have the longevity of a white portion! If you like GR, give this a shot. Swedish Match did a great job with this snus!
