When you first open the can, you will notice the portions are in the classic Swedish Match star formation. Swedish Match wedges the portions to fit them into the star formation, so I suggest you roll the portion around a bit to loosen up the tobacco to fit more comfortably in your lip. Along with the visual presentation, you will begin to have that classic General aroma fill your nose and the air round you. It is a pleasant smell, with a citrusy bergamot being front and center. Behind that, you will notice a rich tobacco smell, along with hints of pepper. The taste is just about the same as the aroma. The citrus from the bergamot will be one of the first flavors you find, with tobacco following right behind. The pepper balances the citrus rather well and is not overbearing in the slightest. The overall flavor of this snus is most definitely a traditional flavor, and the nicotine content is a regular strength so it is not too strong.
