General Original Portion is one of the oldest products you can get on the market today. From a very classic taste, to the 154 year old tradition, this snus is one of the best available. I've always been more of a fan of white portion snus, but this is definitely one where I prefer the original to the white. General Original Portion comes in a black can, with a golden brown label. This can design is the one available here in the US. When you first open the can, you'll be greeted by the pleasant smell of bergamot. I imagine Swedish Match included the tea in the flavor description, because of the bergamot. There is a bold, peppery tobacco character right behind the bergamot. The flavor is identical to the aroma, and very similar to the white portion, only more pronounced and slightly bolder.
